Went to get a Uniden CB radio and chose the President Thomas with the help of Lincoln. He was very helpful and we talked about the good old HAM days.Amazing toy store for big boys

We went there to inquire about metal detectors. We were approached by a very nice friendly gentleman. His name was Lincoln Williams. , very knowledgeable, and we ended up buying a metal detector from him . Definitely would refer him as a sales person. What do you get when you put a half dozen electronics and radio nerds in a confined retail space with high-end technical devices at competitive prices? Radioworld! For fishing electronics, all things radio (Amateur shortwave, HAM, marine, aviation, etc), magnet fishing, metal detector gear, Garmin products and so in… one of my favourite electronics gear stores. The people here really know why they’re talking about. Online works too (pretty big stock I think) but I’m person browse is the best. It’s easy to get to at the 400 right off the Steeles ramp.

Bought a gps from them and within a week it stopped working. The store refused to even look at it and basically said I am on my own, and got quite rude. I should have said nothing and returned it. I won't be purchasing anything from here any more.

I have been a customer of Radioworld since the mid 1990s and have purchased many items from marine radios, to fishfinders, GPS, binoculars and all kinds of accessories. Each time I dealt with a polite and very knowledgeable person who offered not only good advice but best value for the money.Shipping items to my home has also been flawlessI will continue to be a satisfied customer and will recommend it to anyone who needs great products and great customer service

my advice is to shop here if you know exactly what you're looking for. If you're new to this, Radioworld is not the place for you.I came to them with a vintage CB radio I picked up second hand and asked for their advice and support on how to get it running on my jeep. I made it very clear that I don't know anything about this and was looking for their support. They sent me home with a 4' antenna, a spring, a stud mount and a 25' coax cable. When I stated installing it all, I noticed that the antenna packaging clearly states it's not to be used with anything more than an 18' cable. So I was immediately disappointed. As I was researching this to confirm who was right and who was wrong I came across more information that I should not be using a sprig with this set up as it'll distort everything. Finally, when I tried installing the stud it all seized up. I emailed them and they immediately responded with a 3 paragraph reply about galling where stainless Steele components will fuze together unless you add a little oil. I was so disappointed. I asked for some pre-sales support and they just sold me some stuff. It would have taken an extra 10 seconds to share with me that I should use some oil when installing the stud. now I have to cut this thing off my bracket, throw it out and source a new one. They didn't offer to replace it or anything... I'm really disappointed and would not trust them to give you any pre or post sales support. Take your business elsewhere if I were you.

I purchased a part for my metal detector. The part doesn't fit in the metal detector. I talked to the manager and the only option he gave me is to send the part back to check it out and I have to pay for shipping.why should I pay for shipping for the item I got with a quality issue?I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. just another place that provides a bad service and cares only about making more money by robbing people.

Great stock and pricing. Super frustrating with the shipping policy though. Won't ship to different address than the billing address, needed to switch the billing address on the card over with the bank so the package could be delivered where I will actually be able to receive it. Tried that, several hoops to jump through, typical bank hassle. Understand the store is likely worried about liability. I was more worried about having a $$$ package sitting on an unattended front porch.Ultimately not worth the hassle and went elsewhere. Took 5 minutes.. might be worth reconsidering your shipping policy.

Very interesting place that caters to a wide variety of customers.For some, this would be like being a kid in a candy store.I was looking for a good quality desk top AM/FM radio, and after searching the internet over a period of time Radioworld , stuck out and peaked my interest. I recently went to their store and picked up a reasonably priced unit that exceeded my expectations. Great equipment and value for the money spent.

One of the best retail experiences I've had in a while. Insanely knowledgeable staff, and twice as friendly. Ask for Lincoln if you need any radio knowledge at all, big or small! Thanks for a kind experience :-)
